Welcome to the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club
Location
Since 1961, the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club has served shooters from its foothill site in Cupertino, California, opposite the Stevens Creek Reservoir. See our Directions page for the club's location.
Hours
Our club offers informal and competitive rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting to the public on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and the first and third Sundays of each month.
Our Public Hours:
- Tuesday: 9-9 (shotgun 5-9)
- Friday (rifle and pistol only) and Saturday: 9-5
- First and third Sundays: 10-3
We are closed on some holidays; see our Hours page for details.
Cost is $12/day for the rifle/pistol range, $5/25 targets for trap.
Membership
The Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club is operated, maintained, and improved by its 300+ volunteer members. Two main membership types are available:
- Regular Membership: The most popular membership combines a small yearly fee with periodic duty as a range safety officer on the rifle/pistol and trap ranges. During their first year, Regular Members contribute additional hours working on club grounds and buildings.
- Special Membership: A limited number of more expensive Special Memberships are available for those with less time to contribute.
The General Membership Meeting is the first Thursday of every month at 7PM in the main clubhouse (directions to the club). If you are interested in joining the club, please come to one of our general meetings to fill out the membership application.
In addition to the benefits of saving money and using the range when it is closed to the public, Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club members enjoy the camaraderie of friendly people with similar interests. See our Become a Member page for details.
