Since 1961, the Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club has served shooters from its foothill site in Cupertino, California, opposite the Stevens Creek Reservoir. See our Directions [1] page for the club's location.
Public Access
Sunnyvale Rod & Gun Club is open to the public. We offer informal and competitive rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting to the public on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and the first and third Sundays of each month.
NOTE: We do not rent or sell firearms or ammunition.
Our Public Hours:
- Tuesday: 9-9 (shotgun 5-9)
- Friday (rifle and pistol only) and Saturday: 9-5
- First and third Sundays: 10-3

Cost is $20/day for the rifle/pistol range, $7/25 targets for trap. CASH ONLY.
Rules For Public Shooters on All Ranges
- Public shooters must present a U.S.-based photo ID to the Range Master or Trap Captain at sign-in
- Foreign passports, student IDs, etc., will not be accepted
- Public shooters must be over 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult
- Public shooters must be able to speak and understand English
- Public shooters may not conduct any firearms tourism nor business, nor sell anything on the property, without the prior approval of the management of the Club. This includes the parking lot.
